AIKO

AIKO was born in Tokyo, Japan and has lived and worked in New York City since the mid-90s. She began her artistic career as an as apprentice in the Brooklyn studio of Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, later to become a founding member of the art collective FAILE. Working solo since 2006 as Lady AIKO, she is one of the most famous women in street art today.
